The paradigm for doing business has obviously changed, and law firms whose marketing strategy and client outreach had been successful for years, are finding they’re not working nearly as well now. As the attributes of social media become more and more pronounced, so does the trepedation over legal ramifications, particularly among legal marketers.

Blogging, especially in the United States, is a judicial concern, espececially due to social media being an area that most business are just beginning to grasp. The legal marketing industry, is particularly cautious do to the laws governing social media still being in flux.

and provides some simple and straightforward tips for safely navigating them. Of course, if you’re in a larger firm, there are going to be compliance and other guidelines legal marketers will implement for their firms, but this is a great place to start.
