Social Media: Risks & Rewards- Legal marketers, are you representing yourself online and actively using social media?

I attended the Social Media: Risks & Rewards Conference day-long program at NYC’s Harvard Club. The conference was chaired by Legal Tech Network’s associate editor Theodora Blanchfield; and Law.com and Legal Blog Network co-author, Bob Ambrogi. It was an incredibly exhilarating day!

I was fortunate to be Tweeting live  using the Hedgetag “#LSMC  along with @lawtechnews (T. Blanchfield), @commonscold (Monica Bay, Common Scold
journalist and editor-in-chief of Legal Technology News Network) @blawgreview (”Ed Post”), @nikiblack (Niki Black), and several others.

The resounding message of the conference:  The time has come for legal organizations to represent themselves on the internet and take consistent actions on social media platforms.  It is imperative for them to play an active role online in order to manage their reputation and stay cognizant of the developing regulations.

The transcript in its entirety is available on Legal Marketing’s Note Page on Facebook
